If we can’t find a new method to qualify talents, there is no reason to believe the future lies in the hands of our youth. Indeed, believing in that future is not enough: we must build it. That’s why we are revolutionizing the concept of developing young apprentices.
Drawing from research in neuroscience, we reshape how individuals are qualified. We map out behaviors. We enhance the way knowledge is spread. We improve the means of increasing productivity. We innovate how people are managed. Because if what exists doesn’t work, someone needs to move forward.

neuroscience to train
young apprentices
Instituto João Bittar is a training entity for young apprentices. We are the social branch of Bittar Neurociência, the sole private lab dedicated to research in neuroscience in Brazil.
We use research in neuroscience to develop our teaching methodologies and resources, which allows us to identify neurobehavioral profiles that guide our youth through the program. We also develop techniques for improving focus and attention, as well as more efficient methods for apprentice training and management.
Currently, Brazil and much of the world face a crisis related to the low professional qualification of our population. While companies struggle to find professionals who meet their needs in an efficient manner, part of that population has been struck with unemployment.
Part of the problem lies in the training of young apprentices. The existing methodologies are inadequate and insufficient, and that’s why Instituto João Bittar decided to develop new solutions to overcome this challenge.

UNDERSTANDING THE YOUNG APPRENTICE PROGRAM
The Young Apprentice program at Instituto João Bittar aims to integrate young individuals into the workforce by providing vocational training that combines theoretical education, both in-person and through distance learning, with practical experience in top companies nationwide.
We are the sole apprenticeship training entity in Brazil employing a methodology for apprentice qualification and management that is grounded in research in applied neuroscience. To participate, individuals must be between 14 and 24 years old – or, in the case of Persons with Disabilities (PwD), any age –, and be enrolled in or have completed high school. Contracts are for 4 or 6 hours per day with formal employment status.
